GORGEOUS RIDING WEATHER

The last two days have brought perfect temps for being out on the trails. The marine layer came to our rescue Sunday morning. While Sat. had been a scorcher, Sunday morning granted us a cool ride all through Aliso Woods. By the time we'd ridden to the bottom of Choya, blue was having it's breakthrough while the marine layer was struggling to stay overhead. Fellow rider and client Barry and wife Sherry turned the corner at Choya. I had a minute with Barry to say hey and visit as Sherry pushed on and passed us by. She is the spot on the hill behind smiling Barry. That woman is one tough rider! Sherry and Barry became Grandparents not too long ago. Grandparents sure ain't what they used to be! These two are tough athletes! The clouds skimming the tops of West Ridge was my favorite shot of the day. The cool breeze and views always get me off my bike to stop and look and wonder. Looking down to Laguna Canyon Road from up top was just a haze of cloud. It was a good day for wildlife sightings too! Five deer, two hawks, and one big gopher snake just as I was zooming down to the bottom of Mathis! Had to swerve a bit around its tail or it would not have made it to the bushes it was heading to! Today Monday, we took a spin out to O'Neill park for an easy up top cruise above the park. Again, a super nice breeze, easy sun, and great vistas of beloved Saddleback. This was the first time we biked around RSM Lake and discovered a wonderful walkaway and a most pleasant view. I looked for a NO BIKE posting but saw none. WE rode so slow between the crowds of walkers, you might have mistaken us for bikewalkers! It felt so good to be OUT THERE~~~~~ all my cares dissolve into nothing, life is easy once more and LOVE continues to show me the way~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
